Location	Primarily based in our offices in Barrow-in-Furness but some remote working is possible

We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable individual to work with us to drive our business to new heights whilst offering outstanding products and services to our growing customer base.

The role combines marketing and social media management skills to further develop and enhance company social media presences, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue.

Job Description

Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies
Operate the 17Sport social media channels
Be innovative in engaging in new social media and technologies
Work with our brands and partners to provide
Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including advertising, product development, and brand management
Co-ordinate organic and paid social media activity
Routinely look outside of our own channels and engage with external content on behalf of 17Sport, where appropriate
Undertake regular competitor analysis
Produce monthly reports for the directors with a solution focused approach
Deliver and support on occasional events
Create, implement and analyse email marketing campaigns
Creates and distributes engaging written or graphic content in the form of newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages

Person Specification

Good understanding of how social media works, understanding different types of social media tools and adapting content for different channels	X
Excellent writing and editing skills – accuracy in spelling and grammar, an ability to write for various audiences and adhere to brand guidelines	X
Experience in using different advertising platforms to maximise company reach and increase sales opportunities	X
Experience of delivering successful social media and marketing campaigns	X
Educated in social media, marketing or similar fields	X
Knowledge of the Shopify platform		X
Strong GCSE results	X
Great communications skills both verbally and written	X
A flexible approach to work	X
The ability to work well in a small team whilst also working under your own initiative	X
Organised, calm under pressure, able to prioritise effectively and deliver projects simultaneously	X
Passionate about digital communication and how it can be used to engage people	X
An interest in sport	X
Graphic Design / Video Editing Skills		X
Self Motivated and hard working with a positive attitude	X
